How to test the ProLog Vacuum Pump


On the Vacuum Pump assembly check that the plastic pipes are secured and not damaged



 

The photo above shows an unconnected assembly as the part 23B3.2 should have the grey corner pump screw through it and into the steel part behind


Go to File > password and enter the required password to gain system admin rights


Click on Service tab that has now appeared


Click on ProLog Service - Please note the new Explorer window may take several minutes to open


The ProLog doors can remain open for this test


On the Prolog Service Window - Click on Rowa Prolog > I/Os


Then in the outputs column click on IO A0.4 Vacuum pump (Finder 44k


This when ticked turns on the vacuum pump. You can use a pack to test the suction cup end and view the numbers on the side of the robot. Low numbers indicate a leakage or issue on the seal of the pack on the suction cup


Untick IO A0.4 to stop vacuum pump
